Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! I pretty much love any holiday that you can do crafts and bake things :) This year, I made heart rice krispies treats for my coworkers and a series of Valentine's Day cards for my hubby, family, and friends.

For treats this year, I made two batches of rice krispies and used red food coloring on one batch. Using a large cookie tray with edges, I sprayed non-stick cooking spray on the pan and spread out each batch on the tray. I then used a large heart cookie cutter and cut out the hearts. I then used a smaller heart cookie cutter to cut out a mini heart in the big heart. I then swapped the mini hearts (ie put a red mini heart in a large white heart and vice versa).
All wrapped up and ready to be consumed!
Clothesline hearts with mini clothespins that have "xoxo" or hearts on them :) The middle one is a "heart air balloon" I made for Tyler :)
I made Tyler breakfast in bed...I used a medium sized heart cookie cutter (about 3 inches) and sprayed it with non-stick cooking spray. I then cut out the center of the bread. In a small frying pan with 1/2 tablespoon of butter, place the bread in the middle and toast on either side for about 3 minutes. Place the heart cookie cutter back in the middle and then crack the egg into the cookie cutter. Cook the egg for about 2-3 minutes and then slowly remove the cookie cutter. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes or until the egg is set. Serve with the cut out heart bread on a plate :)
